Ritchies IGA Community Benefits Program with Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service

Ritchies IGA Community Benefits Program gives shoppers the opportunity to support their local community charity. By downloading the Ritchies app or picking up a card instore, shoppers can register their support for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, supporting their local Base.

Since the programs inception, shoppers have contributed significantly to the Service fundraising activity including over $4,380 from 64 supporters on the Central Coast; over

$5,610 from 83 supporters across Port Macquarie and Taree; over $113,260 from 236 supporters in Coffs Harbour; over $129,580 from 94 supporters in Tamworth; over $132,350 from 365 supporters in the Hunter Region; and a staggering $271,427 from 553 supporters in the Northern Rivers.

The Ballina IGA super store has been the major source of donations via the program, hitting the quarter of a million dollar milestone a few months ago.

The store has been giving to the service for 3 decades, with some customers contributing since day one through their regular shop.
