Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation (LMCF)
Ritchies Emergency Relief Disaster Fund with Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation provides emergency and responsive support to communities during national disasters.
The Fund has provided over $840,000 in grants for emergency relief since its inception in 2008 and has supported organisations such The Salvation Army and Australian Red Cross to assist communities affected by bushfires and floods.
Most recently, Ritchies Emergency Relief Fund provided $36,000 towards the NSW Floods via the Salvation Army, whose teams assisted 10 evacuation centres and together with 315 volunteers provided 5000 meals to impacted residents and first responders. This was supported by an additional $14,000 grant from Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation.
