Heart Foundation

For over 60 years, the Heart Foundation has been the trusted peak body working to improve heart disease prevention, detection and support for all Australians. Since 1959 we have funded research projects worth over $670 million (in today’s dollars).

Coronary heart disease is Australia’s number 1 killer, and still claims the lives of 45 people every single day. But thanks to generous donations from individuals and organisations such as Ritchies, who over the last 29 years have contributed in excess of $359.5K of lifetime giving to the Heart Foundation, we are able to continue our work in risk reduction, support & care and research for the benefit of not only the more than 4 million Australians currently living with a compromised heart, but also carers and family members.
