What do these men do? Men in the shed make things, fix things, grow things and manage the finances and general operation of a safe Shed. However, some men come to the Shed simply to socialise or to enjoy a quiet read in the new air-conditioned “quiet room”. Wednesdays draw the biggest attendance, as there is a good morning tea on offer!

With access to a wide range of tools, machinery (including woodwork and metalwork lathes) and materials, members make and fix things for themselves. But they can do the same thing for non-members. If you are an “outsider” with a project, all the Shed asks is that if your job is do-able, you pay for the materials involved and make a donation towards Shed running costs.
