Wauchope Store Successfully Joins Ritchies IGA Family!

We are thrilled to announce the successful settlement of our third Hastings Co-Op acquisition at Wauchope! We’re pleased to report that everything went smoothly, and the store opened for business today – just two days after the stocktake on Sunday night. Given the size of the store, this was no small feat, and we’re proud of the swift turnaround!

Wauchope is the largest of the four Hastings Co-Op stores, and We’re also incredibly grateful for the support of the entire team. 

Wauchope now boasts a full range of fresh food departments, including meat, deli, produce, and bakery. With this diverse offering and our team’s expertise and We’re also thrilled to welcome Store Manager Darren Partridge and Liquor Manager Thomas Todd, both of whom were previously part of the Hastings Co-Op team.

We’re delighted that nearly the entire Wauchope team has joined Ritchies, and we’re confident they’ll continue to provide excellent service as part of the Ritchies family.
