Ritchies Annual Suppliers Conference 2024 – A Huge Success in Fiji!
We’re excited to share that our Annual Suppliers Conference, held from 29th September to 3rd October in Fiji, was a fantastic event!
The beautiful location and perfect weather set the stage for five days of business, networking, and fun.
A big thanks to Metcash for supporting our event. Jenny Chamberlain, CFO of Metcash Food and Grocery, along with Roy Leisk, QLD General Manager, and Mark Hart, Ritchies/Metcash Deli Coordinator, joined us and shared valuable insights with our suppliers.
A Day Full of Business Insights
Our business day was packed with helpful presentations from the Ritchies team, all focused on topics that matter most to our suppliers. It was a day full of learning and collaboration, as we continue to work together for mutual success.
Supporting the Loloma Home and Care Centre
A highlight of our time in Fiji was Ritchies' donation of $10,000 to the Loloma Home and Care Centre, a charity that helps young people and families in need. Our suppliers chipped in an additional $5,000, and the QNN State Board, led by Roy Leisk and Peter Lee, added another $5,000. In total, we raised $20,000 to support this wonderful cause, helping to provide clothing, food, and education for a year.
Celebrating Our Supplier of the Year Awards
Our Supplier of the Year Awards was another key part of the conference. We want to congratulate all of the nominated suppliers and the winners in each category. Selecting a single winner is never easy, and our buying team puts a lot of effort into making sure the process is fair and accurate.
