In a large bowl, mix the spices, chilli flakes, salt, and lemon zest. With clean hands, lightly rub the chicken legs with olive oil, then toss in the spice mix until well coated. Lay the spice mix coated legs on a baking or roasting tray and place in the preheated oven. Roast for about 45 minutes or until the spice crust is a rich crisp red and the chicken is fully cooked through.
Serve with sour cream, sprinkled with a little smoked paprika and a salad.
