Ingredients

  • 300 g white chocolate, chopped
  • ΒΌ cup cream
  • 175 g Quaranta Nougat, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 150 g white chocolate, melted
  • Almonds, to decorate (optional)
  • Pistachios, to decorate (optional)
  • Desiccated coconut, to decorate (optional)

Method

Combine 300 g chopped chocolate and cream in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until chocolate is just melted. Transfer to a heatproof bowl and set aside to cool for 15 minutes.

Fold nougat and vanilla extract into the chocolate and cream mix. Cover with clingfilm and refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.

Scoop some mixture out using a teaspoon and use your hands to roll into a ball. Place on a lined baking tray. Repeat with remaining mixture, then chill rolled balls in the fridge for 1 hour, or until firm.

Dip balls, one at a time, into melted chocolate, using a spoon to roll them so that they are well-coated. Decorate with a whole almond, or a mixture of coconut and finely chopped pistachios, if desired. Return balls to tray, and chill in the fridge until set.
